Feeling God

Draw close to God and he will draw close to you.. so simple yet it seems so hard too...First of all If you are reading this and you are not a christian I want you to Know some very important things, it is true what us christians say when we say that it is possible to Know God,

It is also true that he does manifest in your life if you do seek him, but if you have never experienced that before How can you know it's really true unless you experience it first hand for yourself? When I say manifest I'm not talking about things happening in your life that you may attribute to God, no I'm talking about feeling his presence, Im talking about hearing him speak to you in that soft quiet voice you may have heard about, Im talking about knowing once and for all that not only is God real but that he does reward those who dillegently seek him.. and that my friends is the key.

Hebrews 11:6
Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently search for him.

I feel the need to tell a story

once upon a time there was a 20 bad little kids who broke into this two room house, in one room of the house was a chest full of broken toys and on the door of the other room was what appeared to be a massive unopenable lock..the 20 kids looked at the chest in front of them and than looked at the locked door . One kid standing closest to the locked door said to the rest of them, its impossible to open this door so don't even bother to try.

The other kids seeing the chest in front of them decided to listen to the other kid and ran to the chest of toys instead...greed and chaos soon erupted as each kid fought and argued over who would get what toy,
After many weeks one of the kids who was tired of all the fighting looked at the other door again and thought to himself maybe that kid was lying I'm going to try and get that lock open and see whats in the other room..

He left the other kids and went to the door as he turned the handle he discovered that the door wasn't locked at all..It never was, just no one had bothered to try and open it.. he entered the room and saw a chest,more massive than any chest he had ever seen. he quickly opened it and found not only was the chest massive but it also contained the greatest toys he could have ever imaged.

He quickly ran to the other room excited beyond belief and shouted, hey! the other door is not locked come quickly everyone wait till you see the toys inside... the other kids looked at him, laughed at him, told him to get lost and continued to fight over the broken toys

again he said,,more urgently this time... listen the other door IS NOT LOCKED it is full of treasure beyond belief JUST COME AND LOOK..the other kids again laughed at him and once more told him to get lost..

In complete frustration he walked back to the other room looked at the treasure chest once more than sat down and cried.

Now I made that story up to try and illustrate to you what finding God is like, there is another room and you can simply walk over to it and turn the lock, but if you don't try you will never get in the other room.

Deception is real,and knowing God is like layers of blindness being removed from your eyes, it's like being covered in mud and as you take each step towards knowing him a layer of mud falls off, take enough steps and suddenly you can see through the mud. The problem is as you take one step towards that goal satan throws more mud at you to try and cause you to take one step back. But if you persistantly press on you will make that breakthrough.

The bible is full of scriptures that refer to seeking God, IF you seek God than,,, search for the Lord and than.. always seek followed by a promised result if you do what he says

thans and ifs.... If you don't do the If you won't get the than..<---remember this

(wondering why God doesn't seem to answer your prayers if there is a promise in the bible to support it? check your If's)

I'll post a few of these scriptures..

In the book of Deuteronomy God is speaking to Isreal and tells them if they will seek him with all there hearts and souls they will find him

Deuteronomy 4:29
But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

In the book of proverbs which is the book of wisdom we see the same instructions again

Proverbs 8:17
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Notice how the word early is used in this scripture, those who seek me early shall find me,

websters defines the word early as
1 a: near the beginning of a period of time <awoke early in the morning

"I love them that love me; and those that seek me early [early in the morning] shall find me."(bracketed words mine)

Now whats interesting about the word of God is how it inter-relates to other verses, for example take a look at this scripture which im sure you've seen before..

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you

By seeking God as he instructs in this case early in the morning you also by default are doing what Our Lord tells us to do in mathew 6:33..and by doing so gain the promises that follow from that verse,..now jumping to proverbs we again see the same instructions....

Proverbs 2
My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

And again in pslams 14

Psalm 14:2
The LORD looks down from heaven on the human race to see if there is one who is wise,one who seeks God.

Are you wise enough to seek God and break free from your deceptions? So why would God put all these
instructions to seek him in his word if he had no intentions at all of you ever knowing him? It's not us who are waiting for him but rather God is waiting on us to do what he says so he can reveal himself to us.

Now a course of action is starting to form here on what we can do to KNOW he is real and have him manifested in our life, but it is not complete, one can't just diligently seek him and ignore the most important FIRST step of them all and expect it to work.

John 14:6 (King James Version)
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The "other door" my friends the door satan lies to you about and tries to keep you from is JESUS that's the door you must open to break away from your deception..To get the layers of blindess off of you,

There is a lock on that door but God has given us the key to open it right now.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life

Romans 10: 9-13

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

The purpose of our life here on earth is to prepare ourselves for eternity, our Goal is to KNOW GOD it's not to seek money and chase after rubbish, it is not by works, words or deeds of our falsely perceived goodness

No the purpose is to have an intimate relationship with the only thing that matters in everything and that is JESUS CHRIST. in case you haven't figured it out yet Jesus is GOD. and YES!! that is possible. To know God is like hearing people talk about someone you have never met, before you meet that person you create your own ideas thoughts and image of what that person is, what they are like etc.

It's not until you actually do meet them that you realize how wrong your perceptions of them really where, It's like that with God, it's when he manifests himself to you that you realize just how selfish, unworthy and decieved you really are.It is when his nature is made known to you that the lies and the deceptions fall away and you see them for what they truly are.. It is when you Know God that you realize just how wonderful he really is and that's when you become truly ashamed of all the doubts and tantrums and unbelief you have had.

You want to get rid of your fear, your worry your doubt's and every other useless lie that may be thrown at you?seek God until you know him.. and while you seek him constantly ask him for wisdom! It is him revealing himself to you that chases all the lies away,

FEEL GODS PRESENCE AND THE WORRIES FALL AWAY

The bible is the instruction book, and doing what you read in it, is the power that starts the machine. The more you obey it the more you grow, now listen this isn't easy this will be the hardest battle you may have ever fought. the more you seek him the more our enemy tries to stop you, but determine for yourself right now that you will not give up finding him and press forward until you do. Fight through the seemingly non stop attacks on your emotions, your thoughts ,circumstances and whatever else is thrown at you to discourage you and keep your eyes on the goal.

When you fall (and you will ) get back up, confess and press forward again, let nothing stop you from knowing for yourself that God is not only real but that he is absolutely wonderful beyond belief., lets go back to proverbs 2 again.

Notice the end part "You will find the knowledge of God".. it's not knowledge as in knowing what God knows though he does give wisdom and understanding it is Knowledge as in KNOWING what God is like to understand his nature, believe me when I say I don't understand it all, and I have no doubt my knowledge is laughable at the true reality of him, but I can only speak from what experiences he has decided to bless me with.

God is the king, God is the all powerful, he is a God of justice and infinitely holy beyond what we can fathom, but God is all love too, solomon sumarized it for us when he said the conclusion of it all was to Fear God and keep his commandments.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 (King James Version)
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Now it is with that in your mind that you begin to seek him. and you can only even begin this journey by accepting the sacrifice our Lord and savior has paid for us. No one can go to the father but by him.

John 14:6 (King James Version)
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me

Jesus is God, yet Jesus is also seperate, It is by his death at the hands of the men in his day that any of us can come to know God, the door to our father is through his son and through the sacrifice for our sins he has made. Don't let anyone decieve you about that truth,there is no other way. You reject Jesus you reject God, its that simple.

To know God you have to want to know God, and pray for his mercy. You will find him if you are sincere and come to him in humbleness and with a truly repentant heart. Obeying God is our duty and it is also his command, so it is that which you must strive to do. write this down if you truly want to know God,

first of all, repent of your sins, accept his sacrfice for you, than, dilligently without giving up seek him. Here's three words to remember....Pray, seek and obey!

Give God glory because he is God, and because he deserves it and struggle hard to fight past the deceptions, God makes it so easy for you to know him., at the moment you are about to give up in frustration he strengthens you, when you feel overwhelmed with trials he is their to listen to you, and you will feel exactly that, you will become aware of his presence patiently listening to you. you fall and fall and fall and he picks you up and up and up. He manifests in different ways, at moments you know it's Jesus with you , other times it's the father, and others you know your before the King.

But remember this he is all those things but he Loves you more than you can fathom, and at times his love is so clear to you. He is our father, He is YOUR father never doubt that. Nor ever doubt that God loves you,We have been given free choice, we can... A) CHOOSE to live our lives and never come to know the truth of this, ultimately dying in our sins becoming forever lost and robbed of the greatest opportunity we can ever have, OR we can choose to do what he tells us to do and begin to truly know him and by doing just that, gain all the blessings and rewards that come with it.

The choice is yours my friends, choose wisely your entire eternal destiny depends on it.

Now if you haven't allready accepted the truth that Jesus Christ the only begotten son of God was nailed to a cross to pay the penalty for your sin and accepted his free gift of salvation, than likely all of this sounds like nonesense to you. and if that is the case than my friend you are in grave danger, hell and Judgement.... sinners and saints! all of this stuff is real.

you are being blinded by deception and your only hope is to RUN...
not walk immediately to God.
