The
first steps of any journey are always the hardest steps to take, it is
no different
in
your journey to truly know GOD. The world by it's very nature is in complete
conflict with GOD and his will.
Everything
is working to keep you from taking this journey, from feelings of embarrasment,
to
open hostility this world does not want you to find GOD it wants you to
die in your deception.
However
GOD in his infinate mercy has made it possible to
become
free, Is it truly possible to REALLY know GOD? yes!!! But you must
be determined and focused on doing just that.
It
all starts with sincerity- a true and real desire to know him without that,
there is really no point,

dictionary defines sincerity as
"the
quality or state of being sincere : honesty of mind : freedom from hypocrisy"
If
you don't really care if you know GOD why would you expect him to manifest
himself to you?
GOD
will not be mocked. The first realization you need to accept is that ALL
of GODS word is TRUTH.
Every
sentence, every stroke in his holy book the bible is the unchanging true
words of the almighty creator
of
all things. It is a roadmap, it contains all the answers to every question
you can have in this life
It
is the key to the doorway of insight and wisdom, it is a doorway to GOD.
If
you have doubts about that fact,or any feelings that conflict with that
statement above,
it's
imperative you block that stuff out of your mind, It is DECEPTION you must
learn to refuse to believe the lies.
If
only by pure will alone, REJECT IT and choose to believe truth instead.
Here are two very important scriptures
EVERYONE
IS A SINNER
Romans
3:23 -
"For
all have sinned, and come short of the GLORY
OF GOD."
EVERONE
OWES A SIN DEBT
Romans
6:23-
For
the wages of sin is death; but the gift of GOD is eternal life through
JESUS
CHRIST our Lord.
From
those two scriptures we know several things, one is that all of us without
exception have sinned and because of that
there
is a payment that must be made. and the payment for that is death.
Death in this sense is eternal seperation of your soul from GOD
it
is the state of dying in the most complete way possible. It is HELL,
it is eternal damnation, it is the loss of any chance of further salvation,
It
will be the final resting place for you from which there is NO return.
Payment
for our sin must be paid and GOD in his love for us offered the greatest
gift he could possibly give, the death of his only begotten son
as
payment for all of our sins.The slate has been wiped clean by the blood
of JESUS But you must accept his sacrifice,GOD will not force you too
And
If you do only one thing in this life I implore you to accept that gift
while you still can.
How
do you do that? You must accept by faith what Jesus Christ did for you
and than just simply and sincerly ask him,
WITH
SINCERITY BEING THE KEY,
if
you question whether or not you are sincere or worry that you don't know
how to be sincere than you likley are sincere
or
you wouldn't worry
becareful
of deception here... Don't doubt your sincerity.

Repentance
is not just shedding many tears over your sins. Many people weep and cry
out to God and yet do not repent.
Repentance
is not just being sorry for your sins. A man in prison may be sorry that
he is having to suffer for his wrong-doing.
Yet,
if he were released he would go back to his old ways. He has not repented.
Repentance
is not fear. Sometimes, in a time of great danger, men who usually curse
a lot may become quiet and even cry out to God for mercy.
But,
when the danger is passed, they go back to their sins. They have not repented.
What
then is repentance? Repentance is a "turn-around." When you say, "I see
that I have been going the wrong way, and with God's help,
I
will turn to God and turn from my sins, "-- that is repentance. This can
take place in a moment's time, and it brings joy to God's heart.
Perhaps,
right now, God is speaking to your heart. If you see that you are on the
wrong road, turn around!
Say
to the Lord, "Lord, I do not want to go the way of sin and rebellion any
longer."
Do you want to really know GOD? Than this my friends is the first step, the BEST step you can take.

that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth
not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him"
Just pray to him from your heart say something along the lines of
Dear
Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I deserve to pay my own sin debt,
but I do believe that You died for me to pay the debt that I owe.
Today,to
the best I know how, I will trust You as my Saviour. I will depend on You
from this moment on for my salvation. Amen.

only important thing at this moment is that you are saved. :)
Now you can truly begin the adventure to know GOD.
