Biblical Sodom and Gomorrah found
The supposed
"mythical" cities of Sodom and Gomorrah are no longer a myth, showing The
truthfulness of the Bible proved once again.Sodom and Gomorrah are the
two cities in the bible destroyed by God for their wickedness,
Genesis 19:24-27
Then the LORD
rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out
of heaven;
And he overthrew those cities, and
all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew
upon the ground. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became
a pillar of salt.
At the south end of
the Dead Sea area, there is a mountain known as Mt. Sodom. It is
adjacent to this area that the city of Sodom was located. The Bible
indicates that there were more than just the two cities of Sodom and Gomorrah
that were destroyed that day. So far, at least 5 cities have been
discovered that were turned to ash and have sulfur balls strewn throughout
them
Genesis 10:19
And the border of the Canaanites was
from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom,
and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.
